Michael Ann Bevivino

Research Assistant

Michael Ann graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 (with a BA in Art History and Archaeology, having studied in the USA and in Italy), and she completed a Masters in Classics in University College Dublin in 2010. She has worked with the Discovery Programme since 2005 on their excavations in Tulsk, Co. Roscommon. In addition to five seasons of excavation, she worked on the post-excavation processing of the artefact and bone assemblages from the site.

In 2007 she participated in the American School of Classical Studies' excavations in the Athenian Agora. In 2007-8 Michael Ann taught classics, religion and art history at Wellington College, Berkshire, UK. Michael Ann has worked in museum curation and artefact conservation (in Ireland and the USA), and she is involved with the Irish Architecture Foundation's Open House Dublin programme.
